Privacy Policy

Account and Identity Information

When you register or use an account, Chainly may collect information such as your email address, hashed password, verified-email status, account status, and authentication or session-related state needed to sign you in and keep your access working.

If you use Chainly without signing in, we may still create a guest session identifier so the app can preserve basic access state and enforce guest usage or export limits.

Security, Recovery, and Access Records

To protect accounts and support recovery workflows, Chainly processes email verification and password reset tokens, request IP addresses, user-agent details, authentication rate-limit records, and audit logs related to account, admin, licensing, and configuration activity.

We also keep records tied to trials, plans, subscriptions, license or API key activation, and other access changes needed to determine what features are available to your account.

Usage, Export, and Technical Activity Data

Chainly records internal usage counters and usage events to enforce feature limits and understand whether a request was allowed or blocked. For export-related workflows, we may record guest or user identifiers, template IDs, export format, request IP address, user agent, quota reservation state, and related operational metadata.

This information helps us operate quotas, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and keep the service stable.

Design Inputs and Content Processing

When you use Chainly's editors, we process the text, design parameters, and other inputs you provide to generate previews and export files. If you use SVG features, Chainly may process uploaded SVG files or user-supplied SVG URLs to validate, sanitize, and convert them for supported workflows.

We describe this as operational processing because not every input is stored as a permanent account record. Some content may be handled only as needed to provide the requested feature, generate output, or support error handling and security review.

Communications and Contact Channels

Chainly sends transactional emails for account verification, password reset, and related account actions. We may keep sanitized email delivery logs that include recipient address, template or subject details, delivery status, limited metadata, and sanitized message previews with token values redacted.

If you contact Chainly through the configured email address, social page, or other contact channel shown in the app for support, plan inquiries, or manual license fulfillment, we may use those communications to reply, assist you, and complete the requested service.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Chainly uses cookies and similar session mechanisms to maintain authenticated access and to keep a guest session working for non-logged-in users. The guest-session cookie helps preserve guest identity and related quota or access state across requests.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate the service, secure accounts, manage trials and licenses, fulfill access changes, enforce quota and anti-abuse controls, send transactional communications, respond to support requests, and improve reliability and product operations.

Service Providers

Chainly may rely on service providers for hosting, database infrastructure, authentication or session support, and email delivery. Those providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to run and support the service.

This policy does not claim the use of third-party analytics or marketing trackers unless and until those are actually added to the product.

Retention and Security

We apply reasonable safeguards designed to protect stored information. Where applicable, Chainly stores passwords and certain token values in hashed form rather than plaintext, and may sanitize stored email log content to reduce exposure of sensitive tokenized data.

Information may be retained for operational, account, licensing, audit, legal, and security purposes for as long as reasonably needed by the service.

Privacy Requests

If you have questions about your account information or want to request access, correction, or deletion review, contact Chainly through the support or contact details made available in the app. We will review requests in light of operational, legal, and security requirements.

Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Chainly after updates means the revised policy applies.
